In 2010, Homeless Pets Foundations created Homeless
Pet Clubs, to give students, civic leaders, and business
owners the opportunity to share their love of animals by
promoting animal rescue, responsible pet ownership,
adoption of shelter animals, and animal welfare. "We
want children to learn to be kind to living things; be kind
to animals and be kind to each other," says Dr. Michael
Good, who founded both organizations. Homeless Pet
Clubs gives animal lovers from diverse backgrounds a
way to leverage different strengths to save the greatest
number of at-risk animals. Schools, businesses, and civic
clubs share their love of animals by participating in:
animal rescue, telling the story of their sponsored pets
via Facebook, emails, and posters, volunteering at
adoption events, raising funds to support their local
shelter and club. Schools, Businesses, and Civic Clubs
build on their love of animals and ultimately foster a love
of community that transcends social status
We would like to say THANK YOU to all of our
supporters! We could not have made it this far without
all of you.
I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but
still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do something that I can do.
