Ladybug is doing great! Here are some of the wonderful incidents/lessons that both Ladybug and I had to overcome:
Thanksgiving. She did very well at Thanksgiving. She was well behaved at Andrew's place. The highlight was when she pulled a paper plate from the trash with a bunch of scraps piled on top of it...it was quite a mess to clean up. In spite of that, she did have some wonderful turkey, thanks to Chef Andrew.
Meeting other dogs. First go around, it was a little rough. I was apprehensive and she can be protective. However, with my friend's help, all is well. She even has a little dog friend named Baxter (a terrier and poodle mix). My, how they love chasing each other!
Her first bath. My first try was solo. The end result was her scared of the tub and water, and bathroom soaked, and smelling like wet dog. Oddly enough, she didn't seem to get wet at all and was still in dire need of a bath. My second attempt was basically my friend washing her himself while I praised and assisted. Now, Ladybug is all clean!
I have not been able to take pictures Ladybug and her wonderful adventures as of right now due to technical difficulties; in fact, I've been showing my friends/family your pictures. As soon as I take some, I will let you know! I did, however, manage to take a picture on my phone; I don't think my boyfriend was too pleased when he noticed that his picture was replaced by Ladybug as my phone background :P
I am so grateful that I have Ladybug in my life. Thank you for all your help!
