Hi Halie: Thanks for all the imput. We are keeping the gate up at night so he sleeps with us. We like that better too. As far as walking, he is excited to go but still wants to head back home as soon as possible. He's funny in his own way.
The only noise we hear out of him so far is when he is dreaming. Otherwise, a very quiet dog. He didn't mind his trip to the vets office. He just layed on the floor by Dale while I supervised Roisin, who was all over the place, wanting to greet everyone and getting batted by the three legged kitty that hangs out in the waiting room. What fun! We've started training on the underground fence, but only with the buzzing noise. We are afraid that if he gets zapped he will freak out.
We have let him off leash in the back yard with Roisin. They have run and played together on occasion, although he is still most happy to just stand next to one of us.
