Entry for March 4, 2009
Ace is amazing, wonderful, incredible. I actually hardly ever just call him Ace. 98% of the time, it's "Ace Face!" or "Acey Pacey!" He's so mellow and yet he gets very energetic as soon as I get home. These past couple of months have been a wreck for me, having just received a bachelor's degree, been to numerous job interviews, and have gotten absolutely nothing. In a time of so much rejection like that, to have Ace at home who is, without fail, excited to see me and ready to accept me has definitely kept my spirits high.
I'll be honest, it was a looong drive from Gray to Culloden the night I got the Ace Face. He was not happy, and it was upsetting me. The first night, he slept near the door, very antisocial. Since that night, he has only spent two nights not sleeping in the bed with me.I have not had that many people over, but whoever comes loves him. He even lets them pet him, which I find remarkable. I optimistically assume it's because he is comfortable here.
