Halie,

 

I can't believe Matty will be a year old in just a few days! It seems like just yesterday we picked him up from your house! Matty is now 35 lbs. He loves to go to the dog park where he has made some really good friends. His favorite past time is to pick up a stick and run through a pack of dogs to get them to chase him. He doesn't like to play fetch with a ball but will do whatever you want if you have a stick. Eric and I like to take him hiking where we've found that he points to every flock of birds we see. (We're wondering if he is a Pointer mix.) When we're just lounging around, Matty loves to cuddle up right between me and Eric. He has changed so much these last 8 months from a crazy puppy with so much energy into such a well-behaved dog. Eric and I can't imagine our lives without him and adopting Matty from Furever Friends was the best decision we ever made! Thank you Halie for all that you do! You really changed not only Matty's life, but also our lives, for the better!
