We were amazed out how quickly he adjusted.  The car ride to the apartment was the worst part, poor Butch cried all the way home!  Introducing  him to Booker was stressful, but after the first two days Booker warmed up to him and now they're buddies.  Although Butch Cassidy was a great name we renamed him after discussing the fact that we've never seen the movie and know very little about the historical figure.  We renamed him Melchizedek after the wise king in my favorite book, The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho.  We call him Izzy or Iz for short.  Adie and I were amazed at how affectionate Izzy was after only a few hours of being in a completely new environment.  We can't thank you enough for the time and care you've given the kittens.  Iz is a great kitten, his bizarre wild cat moments always make us laugh.  He also loves affection and his adorable purr always softens the heart after a stressful day.  Iz is all set for his second set of shots on July 9th at which time we'll give you another progress report and upload some current pics so you can see how much he's grown.
