| Please be aware that the majority of dogs will take some time to get used to a new home. These dogs are often strays and most likely are not housebroken. Even those from a family background will not understand what is expected of them in a new environment. All our dogs are crate trained and we advocate using one initially, until your new pet becomes accustomed to the new surroundings. It will give you peace of mind should you need to leave the dog at home alone and gives the dog a sense of security during your absence, If you were unable to find a suitable pet take a look at Petfinder.com |
| To start the adoption process, we ask that you complete an adoption application. You can find the application by going to http://www.furever-friends.org/forms.html. Our adoption fees range from $100-$150 The adoption fee includes: spay/neutering, micro-chip, up to date on shots, one free month of Shelter Care insurance, a 'Rally to Rescue' adoption packet and a wonderful new FURever friend! FURever Friends Humane Society Volunteers are located in the Middle Georgia area (Gray,Georgia 31032) If you are interested in adopting one of our pets it would require that you drive to the Middle Georgia area, as we do not ship our pets.
