Frequently asked questions about Volunteering

Q: I would like to volunteer my time at your shelter.

A: FURever Friends does not have a facility, all of our pets stay in Foster
Homes. If you are interested in volunteering at a shelter the Jones County
Animal Shelter is a great place to volunteer your time. They always have a
"full house" and the staff would love the help.

Q: Does FFHS ever need volunteers?

A: Yes. One of our biggest need is when we host events we need volunteers
to help us in a variety of ways. If you would like for us to notify you when
we need volunteers for different events just send us an email to
fureverfriend@windstream.net, in the subject line put "volunteer".

Q: I have to many commitments already is there other ways I can help
FFHS out?

A: Yes, you can still help out by donating
items we frequently use or by
making a monetary donation.

Q: I've thought about fostering animals what does that involve?

A: Fostering a pet can be a very rewarding experience. You can read our
Foster Family Guidelines that explains what is asked of our Foster Families.
If you would like to find out more send an email to our Foster Coordinator at
